TMS Roundtable - Erhöhung der operationellen Effizienz durch TMS 'in the Cloud'Zurück
Interaktiver Roundtable-Event für die Niederlande und Belgien
- Datum vom 20 June 2012 bis zum 20 June 2012
- Ort Hotel Princeville, Breda
Join Borealis, Gwynt and Transwide in this interactive ½-day roundtable event. Ask the experts and learn how managing transport flows with SaaS-based TMS solutions generates additional value to your supply chain and logistics network.
As supply chain visibility and collaboration remain the top priorities for corporate leadership, companies consider cloud-based TMS solutions as a strategic component of their logistics operations. Their overall goal remains the containment of cost to gain competitive edge.
This half-a-day seminar organized by Transwide is designed for logistics, operations and strategic managers at industrial companies (shippers) across all verticals. The event offers an interactive forum to facilitate the exchange of best practice between logistics managers and experts.
The format offers participants an opportunity to learn about the value of SaaS-based TMS solutions, exchange experience, highlight metrics, and answer practical questions. The TMS Roundtable gives an insight into the concrete advantages provided by TMS “on demand” at the example of Borealis, a major chemical group, who currently manage more than 100.000 transport orders per year.
In a second presentation, Gwynt – a supply chain consultancy firm - outlines how companies using SaaS-based TMS solutions manage to save up to 15% of their total transportation cost by optimizing their procurement, execution and cost management processes.
The Round table discussion will be complemented by Transwide, a global provider of Internet-based TMS solutions. The open roundtable discussion will give delegates the opportunity to address any transport-related questions, including sourcing and procurement, connectivity and integration, planning and optimization, execution, KPI analysis and (additional) cost management.
